Leinster Strokeplay.
Westmeath County Board would like to congratulate all our representatives in the Leinster strokeplay championships held in Ryston and Athgarvan at the weekend. In the ladies championship Kilbeggan's Veronica Clarke finished 3rd in the junior grade. In the gents championships there were fine performance by Martin White Rochfortbridge to finish 2nd overall and also Michael Buckley and Alan Hanlon in the senior grade to make the final 18 hole playoff.
Kilbeggan U18 Open Strokeplay (Saturday July 20th)
Entry time ; 10.00am - 12.00noon
Categories; Boys 10 - 13 yrs 36 Gross 1st, 2nd, 3rd.. Boys 14-17 yrs 36 Gross 1st, 2nd, 3rd.. Girls 36 Gross 1st, 2nd..
Entry fee; 4 euro for the 2 rounds.
Kilbeggan is venue for Leinster Juvenile Inter County and Strokeplay Championships on August 7th & 8th.
