MARK NEWMAN RETAINS THE ROCHFORTBRIDGE PITCH AND PUTT CLUB SCRATCH CUP
Yesterday we held our scratch cup. The weather was a bit of a mixed bag with calm, windy, wet and dry conditions at different times throughout the day.
We were delighted with a turnout of 120 + players. We thank all who travelled to take on the bridge and we hope you all enjoyed the day.
I must mention our green keepers Fergal, Vincent, PJ and Jim who put in huge shifts to have the course in championship condition. Also there were many members who helped out for the last week. Much appreciated. What a great club we have.
To Mark, Gerry, Martin, Derek and Pat who did the board at different stages throughout the day to Patricia McCarthy who ran the kitchen thank you. I'd like to mention also Martin White who dealt with bookings for the last week. It's not an easy job and everything ran according to plan.
