So sorry to hear of the death of Tony. During my time in Ierne I got to know Tony through being on the committee when Tony was Treasurer. Tony took over from me as Registrar at the begining of this year when I left to be in a better position to look after my daughter Sara. Sadly Sara lost her life in June and now Tony follows The Captain Ted O'Shaughnessy to their greater reward. Tony was a fine ambassador for Ierne playing with Dan Horan in many an Open in Leinster and I am sure he will be sadly missed by all his friends in Ierne and in other clubs. To Jean his wife, daughter Emer and the rest of his family I offer my sincere condolances. May he rest in peace.
