GENTS PROVINCIAL MATCHPLAY QUALIFYING DRAWS
There will be no qualifying in any Ladies Section due to a lack of entries. In addition, the only Ladies Championships going ahead over the finals weekend will be:
Leinster – Senior and Intermediate Grades
Munster – Junior Grade
The other three Championships did not gain enough entries to warrant the hosting of a Championship.
Please note that in a change of policy, the PPUI will not be posting draw sheets to clubs any more. All forms will now be posted on the web well in advance of the competition. This change will lead to greater efficiency and quicker access for the clubs and players involved. Drawsheets are designed to be printer friendly, so producing a copy will be easy for anyone with a printer.
The PPUI aim to have the draws online as soon as possible in the days after the closing date of all championships/competitions, with a target of producing all draws within seven days. Please note that while the PPUI aim to upload the relevant drawsheets on or before this date, on rare occasions, circumstances may determine that this isn’t possible. In these instances the draw will be uploaded as close as possible to the predetermined date.
These changes are a step towards to the addition of online entry and registration facilities which we hope to trial later in the year with a view to usage for the 2016 season. Again, this addition will lead to greater efficiency and access.
