As well as new twitter and facebook pages, one other feature the PPUI have launched in co-ordination with the development of the new website is our Flickr account. It is all part of an initiative to embrace social media and bring our membership closer to the action.
Flickr is a photo sharing website which has over 50 million users across the
world. Here the PPUI can host all their photos so that members can get a feel
for the colour and atmosphere from some events they might not have been able to
attend.
The link to the sets on our Flickr account is on the bottom left of the PPUI
Home Page, next to the facebook and twitter links. You will also find this
link below.
We will be adding to the database over time to bring the photo sets up to speed with all the action so far in 2012.
In the past few days we have uploaded nearly 300 pictures from the World Cup at
Royal Meath and the Under 16 weekend at St. Bridget's. Make sure to check them
out, especially if you were not there. Enjoy!
