Recently the PPUI through our National Coaching & Development Manager, Paul Hayes, contacted anyone who has completed a Pitch and Putt Level 1 coaching course in the past asking them to respond to a survey.
The PPUI is conducting research into its Level 1 Coaches with the purpose being:
• To ensure that our internal database is up to date
• To provide the wider PPUI membership with information of coaching availability in their clubs
• To determine the activity level of PPUI Level 1 Coaches
• To help with coaching development opportunities
• Identify areas of the country that can be targeted to increase the number coaches
The PPUI will be publishing a list of all Level 1 coaches on our website, www.ppui.ie and only coaches who respond to this survey will be listed on the website as being an Active Coach. Our aim is to provide better support to our PPUI coaches through regular CPD courses, updating of coaching materials, safeguarding basic awareness courses, Garda vetting compliance and so on.
If you have completed a Pitch and Putt Level 1 coaching course but have not received your survey, please contact Paul Hayes at the PPUI office on 01-6251110 or email [email protected]. For those who have received the survey and are coaching or wish to coach in the future, you are encouraged to complete the survey and return it as soon as possible.
