The National Executive wishes to inform everyone of the following decisions made today at its meeting in Templemore:
- All Ladies Inter-County events this year will be contested by teams of four.
- U16 Inter-County events will be teams of four at provincial level and teams of six at national level. Counties will be allowed enter a second team at provincial level if they so wish.
- It was agreed to try and run a National U20 Strokeplay again this year as part of the National U16 weekend in Deerpark provided sufficient entries are received.
- The National Scotch Foursomes in Lakeside in early October will see the Mixed and Non-Mixed Sections contested on separate days (Saturday and Sunday).
- Votes of sympathy were passed for the late Kitty Breen and Shane Murphy at the meeting.
