Riverdale Crowned 2026 National Inter-Club Champions at Lucan

Riverdale Pitch & Putt Club are the 2026 National Inter-Club Champions following an impressive 6–3 victory over defending champions Bruff in Sunday's final at Lucan Pitch & Putt Club.

Having finished as runners-up in 2024, Riverdale went one better this year, producing an outstanding performance across the weekend to secure the national title.

Riverdale began their campaign by topping Saturday's strokeplay qualifying before recording a convincing 8–1 victory over Trim in the semi-finals to book their place in the decider against Bruff.

The final proved to be a closely contested encounter, with Bruff taking an early 2–1 advantage following the doubles matches. However, Riverdale produced a superb response in the singles, winning five of the six matches to complete a memorable 6–3 victory.

Particular congratulations go to Patsy Farrell and Gary O'Neill, who both enjoyed an exceptional Sunday, winning all four of their matches across the semi-final and final.
