MacBride Weekly Notes
A 36 Hole Singles took place on the weekend in challenging conditions that were very wet and windy.
The 36 Nett section seemed to be wrapped up when Pat Gorman carded back to back 52's (HC12) to post a score of 80 nett but Marko Vogelaar had different ideas when he shot 51, 50 (HC11) to beat Pat by one stroke with a 79.
Barry Thornton took the 36gross in comfortable fashion with a 93 Gross with rounds of 46 and 47 to beat Chris Murray by four shots when he could only manage a 52 along with his 45, which was the best single round for the week.
The club Doubles Matchplay takes place this week and the results will be published next week.
