The
Entry Forms are out with all Clubs and County Boards for the Leinster and
Munster Secondary Schools Competitions. In addition, all schools who entered
the competition in 2011 have received a letter with an entry form.
The finals take place this year at
Majestic and Sr. Bridget's respectively on Friday 12th October. This year we
have increased the number of teams to qualify for the All-Ireland Competition.
The top 7 teams in each province will now qualify for the Final, which takes place on October 26th, also at St. Bridget's.
Yet again, all teams will consist of three members with each team having at
least one PPUI member. All three scores will count in the competition which is
36 holes Strokeplay. Entries must be returned to the PPUI office by Wednesday
19th of September.
Please note that qualifying was required in all counties last year as the
number of competing schools was quite large. Once again we expect a large entry
and therefore a qualifying round will be required. Schools will be informed of
the arrangements for these in days following the closing date.
Please find the link for both entry forms below, which can also be accessed in
the Downloads > Entry Forms section of the PPUI website.
