Douglas contributed a blend of youth and experience to the Cork teams performance in the Munster Inter County over last weekend. Eoin Keating, Conor Irwin and Ronan O’Driscoll were members of the Cork team who were victorious in the Under 16 event while Mark Crean and Cian Morrison were members of the winning Cork Intermediate team. In the Mens Senior InterCounty championship the vastly experienced Liam O Brien filled his role of non playing Captain with aplomb as Cork powered to a fifth successive title.
In the individual Muster 14 to 15 age group Conor Irwin had to be content with second place in his attempt to retain the title he won in 2014.
Congratulations to Rocklodge and Lakewood for providing a tough challenge on courses in excellent condition and to all the competitors and supporters who made the event a success..
