The u.16 league final was played on a well presented course in Pfizer's last Saturday and despite the cold and blustery weather Lakewood and Douglas gave a great final. they shared the foursomes and the five singles match's started with most people giving Douglas the edge, Lakewood upset the odds however by winning 4 of the match's to take the title 5 - 2 overall. the game was very well attended and interested spectators included both Eamon Birchall (President) and Padraig o Shea (Vice President) as well as Billy Lych (Patron).
