Just ahead of the weekend’s Provincial Matchplay Qualifiers, a note on the Qualifiers. 

All of the County Matchplay Winners who have entered the Provincial Matchplay automatically qualify for the Finals of the Provincial Matchplay provided they have entered. This reduces the number of places available for players in each grade by 1 in each county.  Example: If a county has 8 places and a county matchplay winner entered they then have 7 places plus their automatic qualifier which makes 8. 

 

Reminder:  National matchplay closes next week Friday 25th April. It will be as normal matchplay format. Players please check your clubs notice boards for entry sheets or the download section on the Pitch and Putt website if they are not posted on them.
