The Gents Inter County Championship has just commenced with the players of Louth & Clare. St. Patrick’s is overcast today with heavy black clouds bringing the promise of rain, that being said the players’ mood is buoyant and the large attendance is hopeful of as exciting a climax this afternoon as there was in the Ladies event where the result went right down to the final pitch of the final player. The final pairing of holders Cork and hosts Wexford is timed for 10.30 so if you can make your way to Enniscorthy to see the best of players in action all through the day.
